本会是于2011年正式成立第一届彭亨大学中华文化理事会。本社团秉持着以下四大宗旨：

1. 团结彭大华裔，促进各族之间的交流。

2. 培养会员们对中华传统价值的认知并贯彻于马来西亚华人传统文化。

3. 提高会员的社会意识与独立思考能力。

4. 缔造出能促进会员与华社交流的平台并给予贡献。

The first batch of UMP Chinese Cultural Council was formed on year 2011 with following purpose:

1. Creating unity through the interaction of various races.

2. Cultivating the values in Chinese culture.

3. Inheriting the correct practice of Chinese heritage and enhancing the social awareness and critical thinking.

4. To create a platform for the interaction with others Chinese society and give contribution.
